Good morning great Physiotherapists , I believe we are all still hung up on the euphoria of the success of Salt City 2017! This years event which had been flagged off by a multi denominational service on Sunday 22/10/17. To arrival of CHOPDIN , CHOPDIN workshop and AGM on Monday 23/10/17. Pre conference workshop was on Tuesday 24/10/17(Very well attended I may add). Wednesday 25/10/17 was for the power packed plenaries and scientific sessions. The opening ceremony on Thursday 26/10/17 was a wonderful sight to behold with the nkwaumuagbogho that mesmerized the audience with their dancing skills and lovely colours. Awards were presented to deserving friends and personalities. The much anticipated Novelty match took place same day, that ended in a goalless draw but showcased that our Physiotherapists are still in top form. A visit to the famous Abakiliki rice mill ,AGM and Dinner night capped the events of the week on Friday 27/10/17. It has indeed been a fulfilled ,productive week, where policy statements were arrived at. More knowledge garnered and new alliances forged as old ones were reinforced. It was indeed a week not to have been missed. Unfortunately all good things come to an end and we all have to get back to our different bases . Our thanks and gratitude to God Almighty ,the LOC, NOC ,ENEC and indeed all Nigerian Physiotherapists in Nigeria and Diaspora who have made the 57th Annual Scientific Conference and AGM of the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy the great success it was. Can't wait to see us all again in Port Harcourt for the 58th Annual Scientific Conference and AGM. I wish us all safe journeys as we go home.
