A KEY NOTE ADDRESS DELIVERED BY PRESIDENT TAIWO OYEWUMI AT THE 16TH ANNUAL WORKSHOP AND GENERAL MEETING OF NSP COMMITTEE OF HEADS OF PHYSIOTHERAPY DEPARTMENTS IN NIGERIA (NSP CHOPDIN) AT RIVERTON HOTEL, LOKOJA, KOGI STATE ON 26TH OCTOBER, 2015

I return glory to the almighty God for the opportunity to address the NSP CHOPDIN group. NSP CHOPDIN is a major NSP pressure group. I am delighted to see NSP CHOPDIN grow in leaps and bounds.

I use this opportunity to welcome all the new Heads of Departments to the fold and wish them the best of luck in their career pursuit. I congratulate the new leadership of NSP CHOPDIN and wish them successful tenure. The supportive roles being played by Mrs. Jumoke Smith and Dr. Abanum the penultimate and immediate past Chairs of NSP CHOPDIN respectively is worthy of emulation and commendation.

The NSP Unity project and Legacy Mandate are on course. I solicit the support of NSP CHOPDIN on these two NSP key projects. Further, NSP CHOPDIN is in a position of advantage to engage in membership drive for the NSP by ensuring that every single Physiotherapist staff under them belong to the NSP and are in good standing with the NSP at all times. Let us be a part of the membership drive challenge project.

I implore NSP CHOPDIN to make her zonal groups come alive. It is my desire that NSP CHOPDIN draw up roadmap in tandem with NSP Vision, Mission, Values and Goals. I am confident that we have what it takes to take up leadership in the health care system in Nigeria in the nearest future.

I thank you for listening and wish you happy stay at Lokoja.

Long Live the NSP CHOPDIN!

Long Live the NSP!!

Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!!
